First of all, my eyes are a mess, 2 different nearsighted prescriptions and astigmatism in both eyes, so these will not correct astigmatism and both lenses are the same prescription. If you want perfect, then pay for perfect. My optometrist was nice enough to give me an average so I went with -4 dioptre. I saw poorly with these, but way better than without them and that is all I was hoping for. I could see the big clock from 30 yards away. (Other side of the pool). I could see who people were. These are a game changer, I really am pleased. All I wanted was to see better. I am not going to read a book with these. As for the googles they are as good as my other two pair of inexpensive ones, no leaks, didn't fog, and the peripheral vision was better than the others, although due to the lenses it was bad vision, but good enough for seeing the lines. I was far from a good candidate for these glasses but I like them, and the price is very good.
The Rx correction for me is good (-2.5). Reasonable anti fog. Found the straps a little hard to adjust, and only comes with a standard width nose piece. If you have a fat or skinny gap between eyes, maybe not for you. For me the eye pieces are a little too small and do not fit comfortably.
I don't like swimming with contacts in because I can't rub the water out of my eyes, so these were perfect for giving me stronger vision. If you try reading with them on, you can really see the difference. The only improvement I would make is that I have some goggles that have a quick-release feature for easy on and off, whereas these don't. The elastic is strong and pulled at my hair every time I pulled them over my head. They also can't be adjusted while they're on your face, instead requiring you to take them off and pull the elastic through the buckle.
These goggles work wonderfully for my 12-year-old son. The optic quality polycarbonate lenses provide a clear view underwater, which he found very helpful. The anti-fog coating makes a noticeable difference, as his goggles stayed fog-free. Adjusting the strap was simple, ensuring a snug fit without being too tight or uncomfortable. The UV protection is nice, especially for outdoor swimming. The included case is a handy way to store and protect them when not in use. He’s nearsighted, and the lenses helped him see clearly in the water, which boosted his confidence. Overall, these goggles are a reliable choice for anyone needing corrective lenses while swimming.
